Snow and Sledding

  November 9, 2012 - Friday - The boys went out early before school to build a snowman, with a mohawk, even though we didn't have much snow.

 November 10, 2012 - The next morning, on Saturday, we had a lot of snow.  We spent hours outside sledding in the yard and attempting to build an igloo...which really turned out more like a snow fort.

Leaf Jumpin'

November 1, 2012 - Jumping in the leaves.

Kaden had just come home from Scouts.

November 3, 2012 - We all worked together to rake a hug pile of leaves in the backyard.

Halloween 2012

 October 31, 2012 - Trick or Treating with our friends.

Kaden didn't think an hour and a half of trick or treating would be long enough.  But about an hour in...guess who was ready to be done?

First Snow in Utah

 October 25, 2012 - Our first snowfall since we moved to Utah.  Coming from Oregon, the boys were only able to experience snow on a rare occasion.  They were so excited, they could hardly wait to get outside.  They insisted on waiting out in the cold for their ride to school.  They said of cold, "We don't feel a thing!"

Arizona Trip

 October 12, 2012 - We drove to Arizona for Kaden's cousin's baptism and his Uncle Jake's wedding.  As soon as we arrived at Aunt Julie's, Kaden wanted to start swimming.  He swam every day but one, of our stay at Aunt Julie's.

 October 18, 2012 - We met up with Aunt Julie + kids, Uncle James and Aunt Autumn + kids, Aunt Amanda and AO, and Uncle Josie at the Phoenix Children's Museum.  It was so much fun!

 October 21, 2012 - On our drive home from Arizona, we stopped to see the Grand Canyon's North Rim.  It's absolutely beautiful!

Ogden Nature Center

 September 15, 2012 - We hiked around the beautiful Ogden Nature Center.  Kaden crawled through the bear den.

Brigham City Temple

  September 5, 2012 - Mom and I took the boys up early in the morning for a tour of the new Brigham City Temple.  The boys loved the bus ride from the parking lot to the temple grounds.

When the tour ended and we walked out of the temple doors, Kaden said, "I wish we could stay in there longer."  I just hope he'll remember that feeling.  The spirit and atmosphere inside the temple is like none else on earth.
